Fabien Novarino

Originally from Savoy, Novarino spent his childhood in the heart of the mountains, where he indulged his love for drawing, painting, and model-making.

At the age of 27, he left his professional career behind to devote himself entirely to pursuing this childhood passion. Initially aligned with the Provençal School, he created numerous canvases featuring diverse figurative subjects, ranging from local landscapes to scenes of everyday life. His work was characterized by vivid colors and expressive brushwork. He later broadened his artistic horizons by turning his gaze toward strikingly different locations defined by sharp contrasts, such as New York and Paris.

Since 2010, Fabien has moved away from the easel to incorporate photography into his art, evolving his painterly style into a more contemporary visual language. Using his own photographs or professional images sourced from agencies, he creates original graphic works in a Neo-Pop style—a true successor to the Pop Art movement that emerged in the 1950s. Crafted through a subtle blend of collage, drawing, and stenciling, his pieces draw inspiration from American and French cinema icons, modern urban landscapes, and the world of comic books.

Firmly rooted in the present, his art serves as a striking tribute to the entertainment culture of our times. With their magnetic appeal and stunning visual impact, his works intrigue, spark curiosity, and captivate art lovers and major collectors across the globe.
