ScimoC

Long inspired by Pop Art, cities, and comics, ScimoC has created several collections exhibited in national galleries and museums, focusing on New York and comic books. In these works, she has depicted various heroes and celebrities who were part of her childhood, blending geometry and intense colors in an organized composition from which the characters emerge.

Driven by curiosity and a constant quest for new ideas, sensitive to light, colour, and materials, ScimoC has used a variety of mediums such as oil, ink, pastels, and Posca markers, as well as textures like collage and resin, on canvas, wood, and aluminium.

In her new collection, she now works with acrylics, applying them layer upon layer to achieve a harmonious yet powerful result. The contrasts captivate the eye, creating an intense experience within this maelstrom of colour.
