Margot Pitra

Sculptress born in Les Sables d'Olonnes. After her studies at the Ecole du Louvre, Pitra learns modeling from live models in Michel SERRAZ's studio in Paris.

Subsequently, she works without a model, giving free reign to her imagination, which is more intuitive than methodical. The female body is her favorite theme, the work imposes itself on her like a flash. Either to translate an emotion, or by play of seduction or derision. Pitra seeks more suggestion than realism.

She offers us in each of her works a story where symbolism and seduction plunge us into her imagination to discover our own. Pitra attaches great importance to the attention

to detail in her works.

Artist rewarded for her sculptures, in particular the Silver Medal of the Academy of Arts Sciences and Letters. She has exhibited in France and the United States where she has enjoyed great success.
