Jean-Louis Pelé

Born in 1955. Self-taught painter, he knew how to create through his painting a personal universe halfway between figurative and abstraction.

 

He himself calls it “in-between”. His subjects: artists' studios, the roofs of Paris, Venice, he likes to play with contrast and transparency but also with matter and fluidity.

 

He has received numerous prizes and awards for his talent.
