Isabelle Huard
After training as a psychotherapist, Isabelle Panélas Huard began her artistic career in 1999.
She initially sculpted nudes in an academic style before developing a more personal approach. Her travels revealed a natural affinity for the animal world. The refined forms of her early work gave way to a stronger, more unrestrained expression, resulting in a more distinctive style that still retains a childlike gentleness.
She makes it a point of honor to learn and complete every step involved in the bronze casting process. For many years, she created her own molds, chisels, and, of course, patinas. Even today, her polychrome patinas remain her signature. Among his other distinctions are the Gold Medal from the Academy of Arts, Sciences and Letters, the Taylor Foundation Prize, and the Gold Medal from the National Society of Fine Arts in Paris.
