François Halie

François Halie is a french painter, born in 1955 in Le Mans. After training at the Beaux Arts, he devoted himself to oil painting. His work until 1998 was very colorful, then his palette became more nuanced revealing a nostalgia for existence. He is an figurative artist on the border between reality and fantasy,

 

Halie mixes landscapes, characters and still lifes. The woman is often at the center of his paintings revealing the mystery of life, the world perceived through a window, so many elements inscribed in a very dense and structured composition.

Halie has received many awards and medals throughout his career, and he is in many private collections around the world.
